THE UNIVERSE OF REMY WELCH

No matter what language you speak or what background you come from, everyone understands stories. As a neurodivergent child, I relied on stories to make sense of the confusing world around me. Books and movies were the stepping stones I used to find my way to the real world. Now as an adult, I use stories to help others understand complex technological topics, and to escape from the world - because you don’t need to be neurodivergent to find reality confusing these days.

Welcome to the universe of Remy Welch. I have two jobs: one as a Data and Machine Learning expert, and the other as a science fiction writer. I’m also a dog mom.

On this website, you can find many things. I’ve written a science fiction novel, as well as a number of short stories you may find interesting. I’ve also written a number technical articles that will teach you about data, analytics and cloud technology. Finally, I have a blog that is mostly centered around AI. If you want to hear me talk about any of that, there’s some videos to watch, or you can click the Contact tab to invite me on your podcast or whatever! And don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter, which I use to share my science fiction writing.

My weird brain is compelled to share the things it thinks with others. As best as I can figure, that is why I am here. It’s definitely why this website is here.

Data and Cloud Bio

Remy Welch is a big fan of data. Beginning in psychopharmacological research, Remy studied statistics and went on to obtain a Masters in Advanced Analytics. Remy worked as an analytical consultant for Deloitte, where she participated in numerous cloud modernization projects at pharmaceutical companies. At Google, Remy has helped dozens of Bay Area customers solve problems with data. Ask her about Geospatial data, BigQuery, Vertex AI, distributed training, gaming, or anything in the Data Analytics and Machine Learning space. 

Science Fiction Bio

Remy is the neurodivergent author of the Mechanic and Architect Series. She works as a machine learning specialist in San Francisco, and therefore has a unique insight into the future she writes about.
