“Hi person,
My friend Remy has written an awesome sci-fi novel and is trying to get it published. I’ve read a sample of it and I think you’d like it. It’s the story of a brilliant but dysfunctional adventurer who explorers the far reaches of the universe. Could you help out my friend by following her book? Once she get’s enough followers, Inkshares will publish the book."

Millions of lightyears from earth, in the outskirts of the Inner Temporal Zone, floats a ship of bounty hunters. With every passing day, chaos seems to be returning to the ITZ, which has existed in peaceful complacency for almost a thousand years. Is it possible that the bounty hunters’ mechanic has something to do with it? Or is he just high?

Ben the mechanic watched his utopian homeworld explode at a young age. Unable to cope with the trauma, he falls in with an underground collective of criminals that have protected their trades through the millennia. But when he accidentally crosses paths with a villainous, hive-minded tree by the name of Silen, he’s forced to realize he hasn’t escaped his past yet. Can Ben resist the barrage of distractions — in the form of hypocritical holy leaders, well-meaning conspiracy theorists, and a complicated woman — long enough to uncover the role that Silen played in the destruction of his home world?

In the present day, Ben will recount this epic tale to the bounty hunters, while uncovering the hero he once was.
